Cardano Stalls at $0.20 as Recovery Fades

Cardano's recent bounce has been shallow and is showing signs of losing momentum. The cryptocurrency reached just above $0.20 in the morning but was unable to hold its ground, slipping back beneath it. This rejection points to a recovery that is running low on strength.

The past week marks a turn for Cardano, which had climbed about 14% over the month before reversing and dropping more than 6%. In comparison, peers in the market ran 30% or more in the same window, making ADA lag behind.

Cardano's relative weakness remains a key risk. It is down about 40% year to date and more than 77% over the past twelve months, trading roughly 88% below its high set back in 2021. The recovery has recovered very little of that loss, and it is already fading while stronger tokens hold their gains.

A sustained move above $0.20 would challenge the bearish read on Cardano's price action. Holding above $0.1975 keeps the recovery technically intact but given the weak week and failure at resistance, defending support is a low bar.
