Cardano (ADA) experienced a significant surge on Monday, climbing 10.11% to reach $0.2678 by 03:15 GMT. This marked its largest one-day percentage gain since September 18. The rally pushed Cardano's market capitalization up to $9.6966 billion, representing 0.33% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Cardano's market cap had previously reached $94.8001 billion.
Over the past 24 hours, Cardano traded between $0.2579 and $0.2678. In the last seven days, it saw a 3.32% increase, with trading volume reaching $759.8381 million, or 1.53% of the total crypto trading volume. The price range over the week was $0.2372 to $0.2678.
Despite the recent gains, Cardano remains significantly down from its all-time high of $3.10, set on September 2, 2021, currently standing 91.36% below that peak.
Elsewhere in the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin rose 2.22% to $86,646.1, while Ethereum gained 1.52%, trading at $2,731.98. Bitcoin's market cap stood at $1,740.0538 billion, or 59.16% of the total crypto market cap, and Ethereum's market cap was $332.5345 billion, or 11.31%.
