Cardano's (ADA) stock price has seen a 3.66% increase in the past 24 hours, reaching a high of $0.257224. This surge comes as Bitcoin (BTC) has risen above $86,000, up 3% in the past day. Other crypto-related stocks, such as Strategy (MSTR.US), Circle (CRCL.US), and Coinbase (COIN.US), have also seen gains in overnight trading.

Petrobras, Brazil's state oil giant, has been testing Cardano's blockchain to track cleaner jet fuel and diesel. The project aims to prevent emissions benefits from being counted twice and to trace fuel data across production and use.

Cardano's core mathematical consensus mechanism is called Ouroboros Proof-of-Stake. Its creators chose this name and imagery for two primary reasons: infinity and eternity, represented by the circle with no clear beginning and no clear end.
