Cardano Surges on Petrobras Adoption with $0.28 Price Target
Cardano (ADA) is experiencing a price surge after Petrobras, the Brazilian oil and gas giant, announced that it will be using Cardano's blockchain to test tracking of clean aviation fuel and diesel. The pilot project is split into two distinct initiatives: one tokenizes environmental benefits from sustainable aviation fuel to prevent double counting, while the other tracks diesel through the supply chain for accurate emissions reporting.
This marks the second collaboration between Petrobras and Cardano, following an initial partnership in 2023 that provided education to over 40,000 employees at Petrobras. The success of this new clean energy collaboration could pave the way for scaling up the technology into major supply chains.
In other ADA-related news, DeFi platform RealFi has launched its USDr stablecoin, which will be backed by real-world assets and offer stakers up to 9% yield. However, there are headwinds in the stablecoin market, with a high market cap of $30.6 billion and USDT holding a 60% dominance.
According to one analyst, ADA's price is likely to target the $0.28 channel top, representing a potential 33.33% rally if it holds above its mid-range support at $0.24. However, falling below this level could lead to a pullback to $0.21, which may present another buying opportunity for investors.
