Cardano, its next major update Dijkstra for its mainnet by the end of 2026. The first phase of this update will be tested with a new version of Cardano-node-11.2.

The testnet-focused update will pave the way for Leios to join in later stages, with separate testnets running on the $ADA ($0.22 · Live) ecosystem.

Cardano-node-11.3 is planned as a hard fork candidate, while DijkstraNet will initiate an open testing process. A mid-range estimate suggests a likely time frame for the hard fork to be between 5 December 2026 and 4 January 2027.
