Cardano Vote on Constitutional Committee Hits Last-Minute Bottleneck
Cardano's Constitutional Committee vote is in its final week before the Sept. 1 expiry, and both voter groups are still far from the required marks.
The vote needs support from delegated representatives (DReps) to reach at least a 67% threshold, which is currently at 41.7%, or for stake pool operators (SPOs) to hit their mark of 51%, standing at just 12.0%.
This means that DReps are 25.3 percentage points short and SPOs are 39.0 points short, leaving the outcome highly uncertain despite rising support figures across dated snapshots available.
A failed vote would leave the committee with only three active members, two fewer than its current minimum, making it unable to clear ratification for committee-dependent governance actions.
