Cardano Whales Flock In as Van Rossem Upgrade Boosts ADA Price
Cardano's recent Van Rossem hard fork has sparked significant buying activity among whales on the network, according to market analyst Cardano Feed. The upgrade, which took place on July 19, enhanced core performance, security, and transaction scalability by upgrading the mainnet to protocol version 11.
The Van Rossem hard fork brought improvements to Cardano's Plutus smart contract functionalities, ledger effectiveness, and node security, marking the beginning of the Dijkstra era, the network's next major development phase. The upgrade is set to launch three key upgrades: Peras, Ouroboros Leios, and Nested Transactions, aimed at enhancing resource management, transaction settlement, and scalability.
Whales have purchased 240 million ADA tokens over the past five days, contributing to a price recovery of up to 22.8% and 5.6% over the past week and month, respectively. The asset is currently trading within a bullish flag pattern, indicating a potential surge to the $0.53788 resistance level in the next few days.
