Cardano Whales Fuel Rally as Price Tries to Break Above $0.20 Resistance

Cardano's ADA token has been on an upward trajectory over the past week, climbing nearly 12% to trade around $0.184.

This growth can be attributed in part to large investors, or 'whales,' who have added more than 240 million ADA to their holdings in just five days, according to data from Santiment.

The accumulation of such a large amount of tokens by these whales has reduced the available liquidity on exchanges and has amplified price movements whenever new buying enters the market.

Support for Cardano's ecosystem has also come from recent developments, including its latest development roadmap. Intersect, the organization coordinating Cardano's decentralized governance, recently outlined the first steps toward the Dijkstra hard fork era after the community approved Protocol v11, also known as the Van Rossem hard fork.

The organization's update is significant because it indicates continued progress through Cardano's governance process and provides a clearer timeline for future technical enhancements.
