Cardano's 9-Year Milestone Sets Stage for Potential Breakout
Cardano (ADA) celebrated its ninth anniversary in September 2026, bringing renewed attention to its native token. Market analyst Lana Valentis noted that ADA's recent close above the $0.24 resistance level on its weekly chart is a potential technical breakout, despite being below its record peak from September 2021.
Valentis highlighted key achievements such as 123.9 million transactions processed, 2,890 active stake pools, and 158 governance actions to date. She identified $0.32, $0.50, $3.10 as potential price targets if ADA continues its upward momentum.
The current circulating supply of ADA stands at 36.78 billion, which would place its market capitalization near $114 billion should it revisit its peak valuation. Valentis cautioned that technical progress does not always translate into immediate price increases, and ADA's path is shaped by adoption levels, user activity, market sentiment, and broader conditions across the cryptocurrency sector.
