Cardano's ADA Breaks Out of Consolidation, Heads Towards New High
Cardano's ADA has been gaining momentum after a long period of consolidation around the $0.20 level, according to crypto analyst JAVON MARKS.
The token recently crossed its 20-day Simple Moving Average at $0.22099 and is now trading towards a new high.
MARKS pointed out similarities between the current structure and ADA's accumulation phase in 2020, which saw the token reach a price target of $2.90.
The recent price rally has been accompanied by increased derivatives trading activity, with ADA derivatives volume growing 8.89% to $765.81 million and open interest up 8.57% to $612.64 million, according to CoinGlass.
Ongoing development within the Cardano ecosystem, including the announcement of Demeter.run, a platform aimed at making infrastructure accessible to developers without relying on just one provider, provides additional context to the market moves.
