Cardano’s ADA Eyes $0.30 as Rally Gains Momentum
Cardano’s ADA token is on the rise, breaking past the $0.26 mark and nearing $0.27. After weeks of consolidation between $0.23 and $0.26, this breakout has strengthened the bullish outlook. Buying pressure is increasing, with open interest recovering to around $300 million and the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) climbing to 0.19, indicating stronger demand. If ADA maintains its position above $0.26 to $0.27, the next significant resistance level lies near $0.30 to $0.31.
The recent rally has been fueled by shifts in derivatives positioning, with short positions concentrated around $0.277 to $0.28. A move beyond this zone could trigger short liquidations, further boosting the rally. However, long-liquidation risks below $0.26 highlight the importance of the $0.26 to $0.28 range. A break above $0.28 could reinforce bullish momentum, while a rejection could weaken the breakout and drag prices back to $0.23 to $0.24.
On-chain activity shows mixed signals. Active addresses are around 14,600, above September’s baseline but below the recent spike above 20,000. This suggests healthy network participation, but the price rally hasn’t yet triggered a similar surge in user activity. The divergence raises caution, as a sustained increase in active addresses, transactions, and DeFi activity would provide stronger fundamental support for the breakout.
The next major move for Cardano will depend on whether the technical breakout is confirmed by derivatives and on-chain data. A sustained move above $0.28, coupled with rising open interest and short liquidations, could push ADA toward $0.30. However, without accelerated on-chain activity, the rally remains cautiously bullish rather than a full-scale demand surge.
