Cardano’s ADA Eyes Breakout Above $0.30 as October Rally Gains Momentum
Cardano's native token, ADA, is showing strong signs of recovery as October begins, with analysts eyeing a potential breakout above the critical $0.30 resistance level. The token has spent much of the year under pressure but has recently established higher lows, trading close to the upper boundary of a rising channel. This upward movement is supported by improving on-chain activity, which strengthens the outlook for the month.
The latest on-chain data highlights increased network participation, with sharp spikes in 24-hour active addresses during ADA's recent price rise. The 30-day MVRV ratio has also moved higher, indicating that recent ADA holders are sitting on unrealized gains. While this reflects improving market conditions, it also suggests that profit-taking could increase as prices approach major resistance.
Cardano's ecosystem is also gaining momentum with the launch of RealFi on the mainnet on October 1 and ongoing development of Ouroboros Leios, which aims to improve the network's throughput and scalability. Additionally, the Cardano Foundation's partnership with Mastercard is expanding its payments and institutional ambitions.
Technically, ADA is trading around $0.27, $0.28, within a rising channel that could push it toward the $0.285, $0.30 resistance zone. A decisive daily close above $0.30 would confirm a broader trend reversal, potentially opening the door to a recovery toward $0.35, $0.39. However, a failure to clear this resistance could lead to further consolidation before another breakout attempt.
