Cardano's ADA Token Sees Gains But Bearish Signals Flash

Cardano's ADA token has ended September with impressive gains, but market analysts are warning of potential bearish signals that could trigger a short-term pullback.

The token has increased by 23% over the past month and is currently trading at just under $0.25.

However, Ali Martinez pointed out several factors that could lead to a correction, including reduced demand for ADA in futures markets, with open interest declining 9% over the last week from almost $2 billion to about $1.81 billion.

Martinez also noted that large investors, or 'whales', have dumped around 90 million tokens worth approximately $22.5 million since September 20, adding to recent selling pressure.

The Tom DeMark Sequential indicator has also flashed a sell signal on ADA's daily chart on September 26, with the asset's valuation plummeting 10% since then.
