Cardano's Dijkstra Hard Fork Roadmap: Long-Term Upgrades Amid Short-Term Pressure
Cardano's price has been under pressure after the network announced its Dijkstra hard fork roadmap, which outlines major network upgrades through 2026 and 2027. The first phase of the upgrade is targeted for Q4 2026, focusing on protocol version 12 and several technical improvements. This will be followed by a second phase in Q2 2027, which will activate Ouroboros Peras, designed to improve transaction finality.
The current price of ADA remains below $0.18, with the token trading at around $0.175. Despite the long-term network upgrades, the short-term pressure on ADA is evident, as technical indicators show that the token is approaching an important support area. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is near oversold territory, while the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator suggests positive capital flow into ADA.
The key level to watch for Cardano bulls is $0.18, as a sustained move back above this level could weaken the immediate bearish structure and give ADA room to test $0.19 and potentially $0.20. On the other hand, if ADA fails to recover $0.18, it may be exposed to $0.1650 and below that, $0.15.
