Cardano's Dijkstra Upgrade Plans Fail to Boost ADA Price

Cardano's ADA price has been struggling lately, slipping to around $0.17 despite the team's efforts to implement a major network upgrade.

The upgrade, dubbed Dijkstra, is expected to increase Cardano's processing capacity and introduce nested transactions for developers, but it won't be fully implemented until Q4 2026.

According to Intersect, the timelines for the upgrade are estimates, as testing, community approval, and preparations by exchanges and other services could push them back.

The price of ADA has lost most of its gains since reaching $0.20 in August, with a drop of almost 14% below that level.
