Cardano's development team, Input Output Group (IOG), has warned its users to steer clear of its YouTube channel after it was used for a suspected AI-manipulated video promoting a cryptocurrency giveaway. The livestream, which had been active for nearly two hours, directed viewers to a QR code that claimed to 'double their wealth.'

In an official warning on the company's X account, IOG advised users against interacting with its YouTube channel until further notice. They were specifically cautioned against clicking links, sending funds, or sharing personal information in response to content on the channel.
