Cardano's x402 Integration Sets Stage for Strong Q4 Performance
Cardano's integration of the x402 codebase via a working implementation has set up the network for another strong rally, potentially surpassing Ethereum's performance in Q4 to emerge as one of the top altcoins.
This move gives developers access to AI-powered payment use cases, which is critical in today's evolving blockchain-based payments landscape. However, Cardano must still attract more applications, payment volume, and developers to make a significant impact.
The network's recent performance has been impressive, with ADA up over 8% this month, following a nearly 17% gain last month. The $ADA/$ETH ratio is also posting its first monthly green performance after three consecutive months of declines, indicating that Cardano is gaining ground over Ethereum.
Cardano's DeFi space is also gaining momentum, with the network's total stablecoin market cap increasing by almost 5% this week, adding $3 million in liquidity. This could be a sign that x402 payments are becoming more mainstream on the platform.
