The fake livestreams show a 'double your wealth' offer, which tricks viewers into sending their cryptocurrency first. This kind of sophisticated scam can loot millions of dollars from investors.

Hoskinson has warned against interacting with any videos or links on the channel until further notice. The YouTube investigation team is handling the hijacking, and IOG is working to take down the compromised channel and reset credentials.
