Ark Invest's Cathie Wood has made two significant investments in Circle Internet Group and SpaceX. The fund bought 273,343 Circle shares worth approximately $17.3 million after Circle released its Q2 results on August 5.

Circle reported a revenue and reserve income of $701 million, up 7% from last year but below estimates. USDC circulation rose 19% to $73.3 billion, while onchain transaction volume reached $14.8 trillion.

Circle plans to launch its Arc Layer-1 blockchain mainnet on September 16 with founding validators including BlackRock, DTCC, Visa, and Mastercard.

In a separate trade, Ark Invest also purchased 181,830 SpaceX shares valued at nearly $19.7 million, hours after the company's earnings release. The stock fell 13.61% but still remains below its IPO price of $135 in June.
