Centrifuge Brings Institutional Funds Onchain with Arc Blockchain Deployment
Centrifuge, a real-world asset (RWA) protocol, has gone live on the Arc blockchain, bringing institutional investment funds onchain. The deployment includes three tokenized vehicles: JAAA, JTRSY, and HYB, backed by portfolios from Janus Henderson and New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). These funds offer access to U.S. Treasury debt instruments and corporate private credit segments.
The integration of these funds on the Arc network allows for the automation of share issuance, periodic yield distributions, and real-time ledger accounting. Institutional participants can independently verify underlying collateral compositions without relying on manual intermediaries.
The deployment addresses the demand for real-yield instruments within decentralized finance. Market reports indicate that asset managers seek to temper native cryptocurrency volatility by allocating toward sovereign and corporate debt instruments.
Direct subscriptions to the tokenized funds are restricted to qualified institutional investors located outside U.S. jurisdiction, in full alignment with applicable securities regulations.
As of late September 2026, the Centrifuge protocol showed a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $1.8 billion in real-world assets.
