CFTC Submits Crypto Regulation Proposal After Bill Fails
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted a new proposal to regulate crypto transactions and markets to the White House for review. This move comes after a landmark digital asset bill failed to advance in the Senate this week.
The CFTC, which would have become the primary regulator under the so-called Clarity Act, sent its proposal on Thursday, according to a post published by the Office of Management and Budget on Friday.
