CFTC Sues Florida Resident Over Alleged $397 Million Crypto Pyramid Scheme

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a lawsuit against Christopher Delgado and his company, Goliath Ventures Inc., for allegedly running a $397 million crypto pyramid scheme.

According to the regulator, Delgado fraudulently raised funds from over 1,600 clients by promising high returns from investments in cryptocurrency liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges.

The CFTC claims that Delgado spent the users' funds on personal expenses, including luxury clothing and world travel.
