Chainlink and Infosys Team Up to Bridge TradFi and Blockchain
Chainlink has partnered with Infosys, the global IT leader that supports over 1.7 billion customer accounts worldwide. This strategic partnership aims to accelerate institutional on-chain finance by connecting traditional finance institutions directly to blockchain networks.
The deal was announced on Tuesday and highlights Chainlink's growing influence in the institutional space. In recent years, the decentralized oracle network has secured partnerships with major players like Mastercard, Fidelity International, and Swift/Euroclear.
Infosys is a publicly traded firm that competes with companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Accenture. The IT giant has already explored blockchain technology in the past, using it to power its Finacle banking software, which works with Ethereum, R3-Corda, and Hyperledger.
The partnership between Chainlink and Infosys shows that traditional finance institutions are increasingly recognizing the potential of decentralized rails. As more IT giants enter the space, institutional trust in blockchain is growing, and pilot projects are becoming production-ready platforms.
