Chainlink Bolsters Wyoming's FRNT Transparency With Onchain Verification

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has expanded its transparency framework for Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) by adopting Chainlink's Proof of Reserve. This move adds near-real-time onchain verification to the reserve transparency protocol, allowing users and institutions to verify FRNT's backing in real-time.

Chainlink's system will complement the existing monthly reserve disclosure baseline set by the GENIUS Act, which requires permitted payment stablecoin issuers to publish monthly reserve and supply reports with independent examination. This approach combines formal reporting periods with near-real-time onchain verification, providing greater visibility for users.

The adoption of Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) also links cross-chain movement with reserve verification, further enhancing transparency. The Commission has also implemented Chainlink's Secure Mint, which requires verified reserves to meet or exceed token supply before new FRNT can be minted.
