Chainlink Data Feeds Live on Tempo, Boosting Stablecoin Payments
Chainlink's Data Feeds have gone live on Tempo, a layer-1 blockchain designed for stablecoin payments and financial settlement. The integration provides businesses and developers with access to on-chain market data for stablecoin and financial applications.
The Chainlink Data Feeds support financial applications by allowing them to value collateral, compare exchange rates, and manage risk without relying on a single exchange or data provider.
Tempo's mainnet launched in March 2026, and it has since expanded beyond basic payments with the integration of Morpho's lending infrastructure. The Chainlink Data Feeds are now available for developers to integrate into their applications.
The feeds can automate collateral controls by allowing lending applications to monitor collateral without relying on a single exchange or data provider. Developers can program borrowing limits, liquidation thresholds, and collateral top-up requirements around the incoming reference prices.
