DeFi Technologies Gets Second Chance on Nasdaq Listing
DeFi Technologies, a Toronto-based financial technology firm behind Valour exchange-traded products, has received an additional compliance period from Nasdaq to regain its minimum bid price requirement.
The company's common shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker DEFT and had closed below $1 for 30 consecutive business days, prompting Nasdaq's notice.
DeFi Technologies first disclosed the deficiency in March this year and was initially given a 180-day window that expired on September 1. However, it has qualified for an additional 180 days due to meeting other listing standards apart from the minimum bid price rule.
To regain compliance, the company must see its closing bid price reach at least $1.00 for ten consecutive trading days during this extra period, which runs until early March 2027.
