Chainlink Expands Ecosystem, Surpasses $34 Trillion in Transaction Value
Chainlink, an oracle platform, is bridging the gap between smart contracts and the real world. With over 2,700 projects now using its services, Chainlink has become a crucial component in the blockchain ecosystem.
The platform's official directory lists various categories of users, including data providers, node operators, enterprises, and stakers. Data Feeds, one of Chainlink's core products, provides tamper-resistant on-chain data for smart contracts, used by 1,308 projects.
Chainlink's LINK token is used for staking and paying CCIP fees, with a base floor reward of 4.5% per year for node operators who stake between 1,000 to 75,000 LINK. The network has seen significant adoption, with over $34 trillion in transaction value enabled as of September 2, 2026.
The Chainlink ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with recent developments including the integration of Swiss and Spanish equities data onchain by SIX and the adoption of Chainlink by SGX FX. The platform's security features, such as slashing for poor performance, ensure the integrity of the network.
