Chainlink Expands Reach to Seven Chains with 16 New Integrations
Chainlink has announced the integration of its services on seven different chains, marking a significant expansion of its reach in the blockchain ecosystem. The latest adoption update lists 16 integrations across six services and seven chains, with notable users including ADI Chain, Arc, Bottomline Pay, Ink, Monad, MOVA Chain, Neo, T-REX Network, and Veda Labs.
Each integration represents one project using one service on one chain, so the count isn't 16 new customers. The expansion update shows where those services landed, with Data Streams reaching Circle's Arc mainnet on September 15, followed by CCIP on September 16. Bottomline Pay's Global Pay Connect platform launched on September 17 for over 600 banks, using CCIP and CRE.
Chainlink reports that its services have enabled over $34 trillion in transaction value, with CCIP transfers exceeding $24 billion. The Chainlink Reserve added $1.1 million in LINK, while Spot LINK ETFs took in $2.19 million on September 18, with the weekly total near $2.62 million.
The integration of Chainlink's services on multiple chains has sparked questions about whether increased usage will lead to greater demand for LINK. The Reserve offers one possible route, but there is no guarantee that this will happen.
