Chainlink Expands to Institutional-Focused Arc and DeFi-Friendly MOVA Chain
Chainlink has expanded its services to two new networks: Arc and MOVA Chain. The timing of this expansion is significant, as it coincides with the launch of Arc's mainnet on September 16, 2026.
Arc is a permissioned layer-1 blockchain built by Circle for institutional use. Its validator network includes major players such as BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC, and ICE. What sets Arc apart from other public blockchains is that gas fees are paid in USDC, eliminating the need for participants to hold volatile native assets.
Chainlink's infrastructure was already running underneath Arc before its official launch, with Data Feeds going live on September 9 and Data Streams following on September 15. Chainlink's cross-chain messaging layer, CCIP, activated on Arc's mainnet the same day the network launched.
MOVA Chain, on the other hand, adopted CCIP in July 2026 to connect with the broader ecosystem. With over 50 chains now using CCIP, MOVA gains immediate access to this secure cross-chain messaging network.
