Chainlink or XRP: Which Cryptocurrency Has the Better Chance of Reaching its Price Target?
Chainlink and XRP are two cryptocurrencies that have been making headlines in recent months. While both tokens have shown significant growth, their potential to reach certain price milestones is being called into question.
According to a recent analysis, Chainlink needs a market value of around $75 billion to hit the $100 mark. Currently, its market value stands at approximately $10.6 billion, with about 748 million LINK tokens in circulation.
XRP, on the other hand, would need a market value of over $500 billion to reach the $10 target. With its current market value near $97 billion and about 63 billion XRP coins in circulation, this seems like a more daunting task.
Chainlink has been trending stronger in 2026, with a 96% increase in value over the past three months, compared to XRP's 46% growth. Additionally, Chainlink benefits from a capped supply of 1 billion tokens, which limits future dilution.
