The Chainlink price has been struggling to break out of its recent ascending channel structure. Despite a promising move, LINK was unable to print a higher high and has since slipped back into the channel it was trying to leave.

According to CoinGlass, the current market cap for Chainlink stands at $9.47 billion, with open interest at $715.45 million. This moderate amount of leverage relative to the size of the market leaves some room before things get overcrowded on either side.

The oracle network has secured $34.18 trillion in transaction value, a milestone described as historic by BSCN on X. Chris Barrett noted that 'most of the global financial system hasn't plugged in yet.'

In technical analysis, the momentum oscillator is currently reading 59.72, comfortably above the neutral fifty line even with today's decline factored in. This suggests the broader trend has not been damaged just because one breakout attempt fell short.
