Open Standard has launched its new stablecoin, OUSD (Open USD), across four blockchains with Chainlink as an official data oracle. The launch comes with over $1 billion in committed liquidity from five founding partners: Coinbase, Mastercard, Shopify, Stripe, and Visa.

The stablecoin is natively supported on Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo networks, with separate contract addresses for each network. Businesses can access OUSD through various integration routes, including payment orchestration services provided by Bridge Building Inc., a Stripe-owned company.

Bridge issues OUSD, while reserves are held at BlackRock, Lead Bank, and BNY, with monthly attestations published through Bridge. The partnership between Open Standard and Chainlink allows for the use of oracle feeds in lending markets, decentralized exchanges, and other financial applications.
