Chainlink Price Bounce Triggers Profit-Taking Among Small Investors

Chainlink's price has rebounded significantly, reaching $14.89 after plummeting to $7 in June. According to data from Santiment, despite the price increase, the number of Chainlink wallets with balances above zero has dropped to 912,020. This decline could indicate that some small investors are taking profits on the altcoin.

Santiment notes that this decrease is not necessarily a negative indicator. The platform suggests that the exit of individual investors from the market may have been driven by stronger investors buying up LINK offered for sale.

Chainlink's total investor base remains near its all-time highs, with steady growth recorded throughout 2026. The project has experienced significant developments in both price movements and technical infrastructure.
