Chainlink Price Corrects After Swift Announcement

The Chainlink (LINK) price has been falling after its recent surge, dropping to $14.14 on September 30, 2026, from its high of $15.44 on September 29. This decline is not due to any negative news but rather profit-taking after the asset's strong rally.

The LINK price had risen to $15.44 after Chainlink announced that financial institutions could connect their systems and key-management infrastructure to Swift's blockchain ledger via the Chainlink platform. However, this pilot operation generates no measurable revenue or demand for LINK, only the expectation of it.

The market corrected itself within a day, pricing in the expectation of future growth. The price has now returned to its level on September 27, with $14.02 being the first level of support and $13.21 as the second support level. Below $12.35 would call into question the greater part of the September advance.
