Chainlink Price Fails to Break Through Support Amid Institutional Weigh

Chainlink (LINK) has slipped to around $8.11 after a drop of just over 3% this week, as institutional activity continues to weigh on sentiment.

The asset's price remains below key moving averages and is consolidating in the lower part of its weekly range, with technical signals mixed and momentum largely neutral.

However, multiple indicators are entering oversold territory, suggesting underlying downside pressure and potential for a short-term relief bounce.

In contrast to the bearish momentum, recent developments have bolstered Chainlink sentiment, including BitGo's selection of Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard for managing over $7.7 billion in Wrapped Bitcoin and future tokenized assets.

For the next seven days, Chainlink is forecast to stay between support at $8.03 and resistance at $8.36, with a 71% chance of declining toward $7.77.
