Chainlink Price Prepares for Potential 30% Surge Amid Bullish MVRV Signal
Chainlink's price has surged 10% this week and is approaching overbought territory, but analyst Ali Charts believes it could still rally by as much as 30%. This prediction comes after Chainlink's Market Value to Realized Value ratio (MVRV) formed a bullish golden cross against its 200-day simple moving average. This crossover has historically been a major signal of price increases in the past.
The MVRV crossed above the 200-day SMA for the first time in over a year, indicating that Chainlink's market value is strengthening compared to the average value investors paid for their tokens. The same indicator gave similar signals in November 2024 and July 2025, both of which were followed by significant price increases - 155% and 85%, respectively.
Despite this bullish signal, there are some mixed signs in the market, with Chainlink derivatives trading volume falling while open interest rose. This indicates that traders may be taking new positions, but not necessarily increasing their overall activity. The LINK price is currently at $8.86, and analysts say it will need to break above the $9.00 resistance level to continue its rally.
