Chainlink Price Soars as Golden Cross Forms and Demand Surges
Chainlink's price has been on an upward trend in recent months, reaching its highest level since January this year. The token peaked at $13.68, a 96% increase from its lowest point this year, and brought its market capitalization to $9.9 billion.
The daily chart shows that Chainlink formed a golden cross pattern as the 50- and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) crossed. This pattern is often seen as a strong continuation in the market, and is accompanied by rising volume and futures open interest. The total value secured (TVS) in the network has also continued to rise.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) and MACD indicators have been rising, indicating that the price may continue to increase. A move above $15, its highest level in December last year, could signal further gains, potentially reaching $20. However, a drop below $12 would invalidate the bullish outlook and indicate further downside.
