Chainlink Price Stuck in Bearish Trend Despite Recent Recovery

Chainlink's price has recovered by nearly 10% over the past month to $8.78, which is roughly 67% below its 12-month high of $26.75 set on August 23, 2025, and about 22% above the 12-month low of $7.19 from July 1, 2026.

The oracle network remains the 15th-largest cryptocurrency by market value at approximately $6.57 billion USD. Whether Chainlink is a good buy at current prices or if the market is pricing it correctly after a year of heavy losses is still unclear.

A closer look at Chainlink's price chart shows that it has been trading within a defined range since early summer, with the 12-month low of $7.19 as its lower boundary and the 200-day exponential moving average at $10.01 USD marking the first significant hurdle above the current price.

The trend structure remains bearish, as Chainlink's 58.4% loss over the past year has slowed but not reversed. For a downtrend to be considered broken, Chainlink would need to reclaim its longer-term average and set new higher highs.
