Chainlink's price surged past $10.60 after Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, spoke at a White House technology event about stablecoins. He stated that recent U.S. regulatory changes are expanding the adoption of dollar-backed digital assets.

Nazarov pointed to the GENIUS Act and the use of U.S. government debt in stablecoin reserves as factors contributing to the wider distribution of these assets.

Additionally, Nethermind announced it is leaving its LayerZero verifier role and joining Chainlink as a node operator. This move will help secure Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Data Feeds.
