Chainlink Price Taps $15.78 as CCIP 2.0 Fuels Strong Rally
Chainlink's price has been on a tear, approaching $16 after the launch of CCIP 2.0, which is driving the rally. The token briefly moved above $15.70 during its latest advance, with buying activity and momentum putting the next resistance area in focus.
The price gains have been stronger than the wider crypto market, with Bitcoin remaining around $83,000 to $84,000. Chainlink's outperformance suggests that much of the recent move has been driven by developments specific to Chainlink rather than a market-wide rally.
CCIP 2.0, which was launched on September 28, allows users to add issuer, third-party or institution-operated Cross-Chain Verifiers on top of Chainlink's existing verification network. It introduced faster-than-finality transfers, configurable execution, modular fees, and native integration with the Chainlink Automated Compliance Engine.
The launch is significant for LINK because Chainlink is positioning CCIP as infrastructure for institutions issuing and transferring tokenized assets across public and private blockchains. Existing users include Swift, DTCC, Euroclear, UBS, Wellington Management, ANZ Bank, Fidelity International, and SBI Digital Markets.
