Chainlink's price surged to $12.96 on September 24, 2026, following an announcement by Infosys that it would use Chainlink as a standard component in its banking and payments software.

The agreement between Infosys and Chainlink covers six services, including the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE).

However, despite the partnership, Chainlink's price initially fell 4.4% in the 24 hours after the announcement before rebounding to a 5.72% gain.

The Infosys deal is the second major infrastructure event for Chainlink within three weeks, following a strategic partnership with Bottomline on September 3, 2026.
