Chainlink Surges on White House Support and Nethermind Partnership
Chainlink's native token LINK has surged above $10.60 after a series of positive developments for the decentralized oracle network. At a White House event, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov highlighted U.S. regulatory support for stablecoins and tokenized stocks, which could boost adoption of dollar-backed digital assets.
Nazrov's comments came on the heels of a partnership between Chainlink and Ethereum infrastructure firm Nethermind. Nethermind has joined Chainlink as a node operator to support its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Data Feeds, signaling confidence in Chainlink's role in on-chain finance.
The news follows significant gains for the cryptocurrency market, with Bitcoin rising 6.2% to $72,557 and Ethereum up 10.9% to $2,326.79. Other notable increases include XRP up 16.1%, Dogecoin up 10.7%, and several altcoins showing double-digit percentage gains.
