Chainlink Surges to Near 8-Month High on Growing Demand
Chainlink's (LINK) price surge is gaining attention from market participants after hitting $13.64, a level not seen since January 18, 2026. The recent rally has been attributed to higher market activity, increased adoption of the network, and derivatives products.
According to CoinGlass, LINK generated $784 million in open interest, indicating high demand among futures traders. This surge is part of an aggressive 94% rally between June 22 and September 7.
The Chainlink blockchain has seen expansion in DeFi and finance applications, with approximately $34 trillion in transactions facilitated by the network. DeFiLlama analytics show Chainlink's DeFi Total Value Secured (TVS) at $40.02 billion, up from $33.98 billion on August 7.
