Chainlink Swells to $15B, Institutions Flock to CCIP as Retail Seeks Smaller AI Play
Chainlink has attracted over $15 billion in tokenized value to its cross-chain infrastructure (CCIP), driven by major players such as BitGo, Kraken, Mantle, and KelpDAO. This influx of assets has established Chainlink as one of the leading institutional technology trades in crypto today.
The migration wave has placed some of crypto's largest pools of value behind Chainlink, making it increasingly difficult for other blockchains to compete. As a result, LINK is now trading around $13 and is on track to break through the $15 psychological barrier.
However, institutions have already made their move, and retail investors are advised to be cautious. AlphaPepe offers an alternative AI play with its Early Access program, which provides tools for protecting against explosive price movements and whale-driven liquidity checks.
The opportunity to get in on the ground floor is lost, but early access to AlphaSwap allows retail investors to participate before ALPE's public trading launch in Q1 2027. With Chainlink's established scale and CCIP's institutional backing, LINK is well-positioned for further growth.
