Chainlink Tapped to Power Stablecoin OUSD Across Four Blockchains
Chainlink has been selected as an official data oracle for Open Standard's OUSD stablecoin, which has launched across four blockchains for payments and decentralized finance applications.
OUSD went live on Ethereum, Base, Solana, and Tempo, with over $1 billion in near-term liquidity commitments from its five founding partners: Coinbase, Mastercard, Shopify, Stripe, and Visa.
Chainlink said its data feeds will provide pricing infrastructure for OUSD-based applications, including lending markets, decentralized exchanges, derivatives, and yield products.
