Chainlink Teams Up with $40 Billion IT Giant to Bolster Institutional On-Chain Finance
Chainlink has formed a partnership with Infosys, an international IT services firm worth over $40 billion, to expand institutional on-chain finance. This collaboration will focus on implementing Chainlink's technology stack within institutional finance, including CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol), CRE (Chainlink Runtime Environment), ACE (Automated Compliance Engine), Proof of Reserve, Data Streams, and Data Feeds.
The partnership aims to address issues such as interoperability, regulatory compliance, financial data, transaction flow, and reserve verification. This is not about migrating substantial sums of money to blockchain-based systems but rather infrastructure adoption and technology channel development for institutions to link their existing systems to on-chain markets.
Infosys has been dealing with financial institutions for over four decades and has partnerships with eight out of the ten biggest investment banks in the world. The Chainlink partnership will provide a wider framework of infrastructure, eliminating the need for multiple solutions for each blockchain application.
