Chainlink Unveils CCIP 2.0, Streamlining Cross-Chain Transactions with Custom Verification

Chainlink has released CCIP 2.0, an upgrade to its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) that enables financial institutions and asset issuers to integrate custom verification and compliance management into cross-chain transactions.

The new version includes a feature called the Cross-Chain Verifier (CCV), which allows users to participate in transaction verification. Users can also set up CCVs operated by third-party providers, including those on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud.

Other key features of CCIP 2.0 include support for anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations, as well as the ability to set custom compliance management rules and limit transaction processing speeds.
