Chainlink Unveils CCIP 2.0 with Custom Security Validators

Chainlink has launched CCIP 2.0, an upgrade to its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol that allows companies to add custom security validators when transferring assets and messages across blockchains.

The new version of CCIP enables users to strengthen the security layer by adding their own security validators or third-party validation providers to Chainlink's default validation network.

Existing CCIP users were automatically migrated to the new version, but no institutions using the newly added external validators have yet been disclosed.
