Chainlink Unveils CCIP 2.0 with Enhanced Security Controls for Regulated Assets

Chainlink has launched CCIP 2.0, an upgraded version of its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol.

The new version adds optional third-party verifiers, faster-than-finality transfers, built-in compliance tools and more flexible execution.

CCIP 2.0 is designed for banks and asset issuers moving regulated assets across multiple blockchains without sacrificing control over security or compliance.

The upgrade gives asset issuers more choice over how transactions are verified and executed, with the addition of Cross-Chain Verifiers, optional verification layers that can be operated by an issuer, institution or third party alongside Chainlink's existing decentralized oracle network.
