Chainlink Unveils Upgraded CCIP 2.0 with Institutional Compliance Controls

Chainlink has announced an upgrade to its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) version 2.0, introducing new institutional compliance controls and customizable verification tools.

The update allows users to deploy custom Cross-Chain Verifiers (CCVs) through Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, enabling independent verification layers above CCIP.

Enterprise operators such as Infosys and Nethermind can also provide verification services, giving institutions more control over transaction security.

According to Chainlink, CCIP 2.0 has processed over $84 billion in cross-chain transaction value, with $52.77 million in 24-hour volume recorded on September 28.
